2. What the service is

DOS enables remote viewing and control of a device, file transfer, chat, audio and tunnelling between two devices that have agreed to connect. The connection is direct when possible; when it is not, it passes through our relay, which forwards only encrypted bytes.

3. Consent — the fundamental rule

Every session requires consent on the side being controlled: either explicit acceptance of the request, or an unattended-access code set in advance by the owner of that device.

Using the service to access a device without authorisation from its owner or user is prohibited. Circumventing the consent screen, concealing the presence of the software, or inducing another person to install it under false pretences constitutes a breach of these terms and, in most jurisdictions, of the law.

4. Permitted use

You must not use the service for: unauthorised access, fraud or social engineering; distribution of malicious software; infringement of the rights of others; circumvention of technical protection measures; loading the infrastructure beyond reasonable use; or reselling access without written consent.

5. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the devices on which you install the software, for whom you grant access to, and for safeguarding your key and your unattended-access code. The key is what protects the session — if you share it, you share the session.

6. Availability and fair use

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Direct connections do not consume our infrastructure and are not limited; traffic that passes through the relay is subject to reasonable limits (fair use) so that the service remains usable for everyone. The limits may change and are published in the application when they apply.

7. Software and updates

The software updates automatically with digitally signed versions. Updates may change or remove features. The software contains open-source components whose licences are published inside the application itself (the Licences button); those components are used under their own licences, which take precedence over this section as regards the components themselves.

8. Privacy and data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms and is aligned with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). In short: session content is end-to-end encrypted and the provider has no access to it.

9. Right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union and purchase a paid subscription online, you generally have the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU). For digital content and services that begin immediately, this right may cease once performance has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. To withdraw or for questions: info@digitalcentar.com.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DigitalCentar is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damage, for lost profit, for lost or damaged data, or for actions taken on the remote device by the person to whom you granted access. Liability is in any event limited to the amount paid for the service in the last twelve months.

11. Termination

We may restrict or terminate access in the event of a breach of these terms, in particular of point 3 (consent). You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the software.

12. Changes to the terms

These terms may change. The date of the last update appears above; continued use after publication constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

The law of the Republic of North Macedonia applies, with the jurisdiction of the courts in Skopje.
